Caleb & Della: 10/25/14: Day 236: Arrival

Samuel had my keys to the church building and I needed them back for the bread and coffee ministry. I called him and he came to meet me at the church building. When Carlos got there he told me that the contract for the current building that the church is in has expired so they are scrambling to figure out what to do about it. It is difficult to find a suitable place here in Ataco. We had plenty of help show up and we finished around 9:30. Then I went back home and took care of Charlotte while Della rested until 5:30. Then I went to the grocery to meet Osvaldo. I did some last minute grocery shopping and then as I was on my way to the car, some dude kept pestering me so I left before I was able to meet Osvaldo. I called him and told him I would just see him at the airport. As I was pulling into the airport, Osvaldo called me and said that he had had some car trouble but thankfully he was with Noé and they would be there soon. Their timing ended up being pretty much perfect for arriving as mom and everyone came through the immigration. It is hard to believe that this day has finally arrived! We greeted everyone then we went to Wendy’s for dinner. We ended up getting home at 11:30 and staying up till 1:00. They brought some wonderful gifts for Charlotte. Della’s mom was the first to hold Charlotte and my mom was the last. I am sure this week will be gone by in the blink of an eye but I am going to do my best to make the most of it!
