10/04/14: Day 215: Rendezvous
Charlotte slept well last night! Maybe the best yet! Sadly I tossed and turned
a bit… At 8:00 Lucky and I served bread and coffee in the market. We had a
large representation from the Ataco church to help us again this week. Shortly
after getting back home, Fernando came over to visit. We talked for a bit and
learned some more about some the cities of El Salvador. Then at 1:00, Lucky and
I left for Santa Ana to meet up with Tomás. We had planned to meet him at the
mall but somehow he got turned around and went to a different mall. So Lucky
and I ended up walking around a bit and checking out baby pacifiers to kill
some time. Lucky is going to San Salvador with Tomás to help him and his family
with a project and she plans to return on Monday. I got home at 4:00 and I had
invited Samuel and Paolo over to play games at 5:00, but they called and said
they were exhausted from community service project they had done with the
teens. So Della and I had the house to ourselves for the first time in a while.
We ended up watching a movie and then going to bed.
