10/17/14: Day 228: Alone Again

Charlotte slept well but someone decided they needed to shoot fireworks outside the door every couple of hours last night. Samuel called and said I could meet him at Shucutitan at 9:30 but then the landlord came over with a new worker to work on the house. So I called Samuel back and told him I wanted to wait till they left. It turned out that they were only estimating the job so they only stayed for a few minutes. Then Samuel and I went on to do three visitations. Two of the families we visited had a member with eye problems so we prayed with them. Della called around noon and said she needed to go to the pharmacy to get some medicine. But by the time I got home they were closed till 2:00 for their lunch break. So Della and I ate lunch in the house and then I went to get a haircut and a nightlight for Charlotte. When I got back I watched Charlotte while Della went to the pharmacy and thankfully they had everything she needed here in Ataco. Della received a message saying that Lucky had landed safely in the States. Della and I spent the rest of the evening at home together and went to bed at 9:00. Charlotte’s nightlight blew the moment I plugged it in.
