4/27/14: Day 56: Gladis Baptized

Carlos asked if I would lead the Lord’s Supper when I arrived at the church building. Hector said I should do it in Spanish but I told him I needed a translator. After the break we took the teens back to the house and I gave a lesson on Samson. Today we had a visitor in the teen class so they had to show off and didn’t pay much attention. When we got back to the church building a lady named Gladis was about to be baptized! After celebrating, Della and I spent the afternoon resting from all the trips to San Salvador last week. Edgardo came over about 3:00 to pray with us. We had second service at 4:00 and I led the Lord’s Supper again.

Tomorrow, by the grace of God, we hope to have the last of the papers that we need in hand. It will be a busy day with a bit of travel. If we get everything we will turn it all in on Tuesday!

Pray for my friend Bryan who has hurt his leg. He is may be going to the doctor tomorrow.

Gladis (Left) was just baptized!
