Della, Lucky, and I went to meet the legal representative
for the church in Ahuachapán at 9:00. There was some confusion on exactly where
to meet but we found each other. We told him all the documents that we needed
and he made some copies. He said that he wanted to help us but he needed to
meet our team and discuss this with the rest of the church first. Then we went
to Claro and managed to give them copies of our electric bills and discuss how
inconsistent our internet connection has been. We got back to the house at
11:20. Della and I rested form all our trips to San Salvador this week. Then I
worked on the lesson for the teens tomorrow morning. At 4:30 we went to meet
Hector at the bus stop and went with him to Ahuachapán. It was exciting to see
many familiar faces! We greeted many people. The church of Ahuachapán was in
the middle of a campaign. When the campaign session ended we met with six
leaders of the church. Hector presented our case and after an hour and a few
questions they agreed to sign all our papers!
On the way home Hector said I needed to treat him to some
street food for dinner because he was Starvin Marvin!
Today has been a good day! We need to get two more papers on
Monday and hopefully we can turn everything in on Tuesday! Pray that this
process will be behind us soon and we can focus on more important things!
