8/8/14: Day 159: Spanish lessons

Second breakfast is back! I woke up early and studied Spanish a bit. When Lucky and Della got up Lucky said she needed some eggs and beans. So I went to the market and also got some food for the rabbit. After we finished eating it was time for a major cleaning. Lucky is an organizer so she set to work and we did everything we could to help. 85% of the words spoken in the house were Spanish until the evening. Lucky gave me her first Spanish lesson and it was a crash course on the preterite which I had not gotten to in the book yet. So I learned lots! Della and Lucky cooked a chicken casserole for dinner and then we all talked a while (in English…). Then Lucky started the second Spanish lesson for the day at 9:30 and that lasted until 11:00 when I said I was ready for bed!

Nursery! Della made that blanket!

Della made the mobile!

  1. Della, what a wonderful job you have done on this blanket and mobile for Baby Charlotte!!! They are beautiful, and I know she will treasure them when she gets older!! You are so talented, I wish I had as much talent and creativity as a whole as you have in your little finger!! :)
