8/18/14: Day 169: Boo!

I spent the morning studying Spanish. At 11:00 we went to Ahuachapán to run some errands. I tried for the second time to cash a check from the insurance company and they said better luck on the third. Apparently going to a branch is not good enough; I have to go to the exact bank that has the account. Parking was so crazy that I had to park far away and in my hurry I left the back window down. I had left some books that were important and costly in the back seat and thankfully they were still there when I returned 40 minutes later. We then went to a school supply store to get some copies made. We parked next to a school and a man came out from nowhere and scared the poo out of Della and Lucky. Thankfully it was Osvaldo having a bit of fun and he invited us for lunch tomorrow. Then we went to the grocery store. We got home at 2:00 and I resumed my studies. At 5:10 Lucky and I went to the bible study at Shucutitan and Carlos taught the lesson. The new Christian (Milton) from the camp came! After the study we were given beans from Javier’s mom and corn milk desert stuff from Carlos. As soon as we were home Bryan came over for the first time in a long time. He was sick and had some computer troubles. We fed him dinner and I told him he was going to have to leave the computer and I would fix it first chance I get.
