At 9:30 I was practicing reading Spanish with Lucky while she was looking
through her belongings. She had lost some important papers which thankfully she
found while I was reading! At 11:00 we ate lunch at home and then went to the
market in Ataco to pay the water bill, get ropes for my hammock and various
other things. I had my arms full and the bag broke as I was walking home. In
the confusion I dropped the house key but thankfully I found it again after
searching. Della and Lucky found two more houses that are for rent nearby and
set appointments to look at them tomorrow. At 1:45 we went to the Hector’s
house and I studied Spanish and folded paper while the ladies had a bible
study. When the study finished they started cooking and the Gainesville group
arrived from the airport at 4:00. It was great getting to meet them! They have
a diverse experienced team. JEA (Youth in Action) gave their presentation and
then we ate dinner. Then we all got together again to discuss the details of
the 4 day campout that begins tomorrow. It sounds like it is going to be quite
a trip! I will have to keep my journal on paper and catch it up when I get back
home. I think that it is going to rain a lot. We got home at 8:45.
