8/7/14: Day 158: Lucky is Back!!!!

Woke up at 5:00 AM and left at 6:00 AM to get Lucky!! On our way we stopped at a gas station. The doctor had told Della that she needed to drink coconut water because it would be good for the baby. So Della found some at this gas station and bought it. When she opened it, it smelled like a puff of gas from the rectum. It was awful! I said “It may be just the smell, you have to taste it”. So she did and about gaged. She had bought three bottles of the stuff. We got to the airport at 8:10 and at 8:50 I saw Lucky way back in the back getting her bags! It was wonderful to see her again. We decided that we would start our total Spanish immersion tomorrow because we had a lot of catching up to do today. Lucky had traveled all night but she said she wanted to stop by Walmart on the way home and get some school supplies. After Walmart we had lunch in the mall and then continued home.  We were all tired so we rested a bit. Lucky brought several new Spanish books that we had ordered. I woke up after 30 minutes and started into the books. As I was studying it started a torrential downpour. I went to the garage to look out the window and saw that our sheets that were up to dry were getting soaked so I tried to fix them. Then I came back in and saw that we had left the windows open and all our phones were on the couch in a puddle of water and the fan was on just blowing water everywhere! I ran over as fast as I could and my feet went out from under me… Thankfully I was not hurt. I dried everything off and thankfully everything seems to work still. We all ate our first BBQ here that Della had made in the crockpot for dinner. Lucky and I went to the small group bible study from 5:30 to 6:30 in Ataco. This is the week for the new teachers and tonight we had Armando who had not previously taught. He did a good job. Della and Lucky spent the rest of the evening working on going through the VBS materials that Central left while I worked on Lucky’s computer.

Welcome Back!
