Caleb & Della: 6/9/14: Day 99: Spanish Exam

The rain blinked the power four times last night so I didn’t sleep well. I finally gave up on sleeping and got out of bed at 4:40. I studied for my Spanish exam for a bit and then left at 6:30 for Ahuachapán to take it. When I got there the teacher was still making the exam so I waited for 30 minutes. The exam was pretty easy. It had a written, dictation, reading, and conversation component. The test lasted about an hour and then we just talked a bit. I told my teacher that I was teaching on Job tonight and he asked me to share a bit. It was a good opportunity that God gave. I got back to the house at 9:30 and worked on lesson outlines for two more Job lessons and finished the lesson I was working on for tonight. Job is one of my favorite books. I enjoyed studying and preparing on Job. We saw Hector getting off the bus on the way to Shucutitan so I offered him a ride for the rest of the way. He and another brother from the church tried direct my parking effort. I have told everyone that I hate parking; I just can’t seem to get the car straight. The lesson went really well and we had a good turnout. I taught and Hector interpreted. We took Hector home and then Clifton and I got home at 7:05. Brian arrived at 7:30 and we played Carcassonne.

We are having a planning meeting tomorrow and I fear I will not have a moments rest after. “
There is a LOT of work to do!
- There are 3 houses that need help with the construction.
- All of the 50+ contacts that were made with Spring Meadows 2 weeks need to be followed up
- We need to go to Santa Ana and Sonsonate to finish vehicle registration
- Della’s friends from school arrive at 12:00 AM Saturday night / Sunday morning.
- Signal Mountain church of Christ arrives in 19 days
- Central church of Christ arrives 4 days after Signal Mountain leaves
- Gainesville church of Christ arrives 2 weeks after Central
- Our baby Charlotte arrives around a month after that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
