I spent the morning working on a lesson about the second half of Esther and
another lesson on Job. Then I called some family back home and found out they
are doing well. I really wanted a chance to try some street food while Clifton
was here so today we went. The food was spectacular for good price; the only
problem was that the flies were all over us. I couldn’t hardly take time to cut
the meat because of trying to shoo away the flies. Della didn’t eat with us
because she was concerned that it might make her sick so she didn’t want to
risk it with the baby. At 2:30 Della called to talk to her friends in the
states on Skype but it was raining so hard that she couldn’t hear anything. I gave
her my headset and she looked totally cute and nerdy. Della went to the ladies
bible study at the church building at 4:00. Shortly after she got there she
called me and Clifton to come help mop up from the flooding. The church
building is being rented and is in dire need of a new roof. Della cooked bean
burgers for dinner and we watched a sermon on youtube by David Platt about Job.
