6/12/14: Day 102: Stolen Card Number

I checked the bank this morning just as we were about to leave to get Fernando to take him to the medical mission in Ciudad Real. I discovered that our number had been stolen and there was a rather large fraudulent charge. The charge was debit so I am doubtful that we will get it back. According to the online banking it came from a gas station. It is not even possible to spend that much at a gas station… It is beyond me as to why the bank let that amount go through. I immediately canceled the card and filed a claim which ran us 30 minutes late. When we got to the meeting place Fernando was already gone. We didn’t have his number so I called Hector and he said that Fernando was with him. So we went on to Santa Ana to check on the vehicle registration card and they said it was still not ready yet; another wasted trip. We went back to Ciudad Real and worked with them for a bit. We saw Kyle Moore’s girlfriend. Her dad asked us several questions about Kyle and his family. We were able to pray with several people and we were glad we went. Clifton taught the small group study with Hector interpreting. It rained so hard that we couldn’t even hear them talking.
