6/11/14: Day 101: 48 Animals

Spanish class from 7:00 till 9:00. I helped the teacher administer an English test for two Spanish students. Then he mentioned again that he was interested in me teaching a programming course in English there. He said he could easily get 20 people who want to learn and he would be my interpreter for any that have difficulty understanding English. We are still working out some of the details. I should know more after class tomorrow. I got home at 9:30 and at 9:50 Clifton and I went out on our own again to follow up with more contacts from the Spring Meadows work. We shared with 12 people. One lady even said she was planning to visit the church. We worked until 11:30 and then came home to eat lunch. I spent an hour making a map for all the houses we had gone to with pictures. Then Della and I went to the school for her to teach ESL. She had only 6 students show up today but they seemed attentive. She gave them the translations for 48 animals. Then Della played a game where she described an animal in English and they had to figure out which animal. We went home and ate a snack. At 4:40, Clifton, Della and I left for San Rafael in Ahuachapán to attend Wednesday service with them. We had a little trouble finding the place so we stopped to ask two bicyclists. They pointed completely opposite directions at the same time. They even thought it was funny. We managed to find it shortly after that. We delivered a written invitation for San Rafael to join us for worship when Central is here working with us in July. On our way out we saw the coolest goat with a long beard but it was too dark to get a good picture.
