5/7/14: Day 66: DSL!

I left for Ahuachapán at 8:30 to check out the Spanish school. The instructor was cool and Eva arrived shortly after me. The instructor said that I will have a written and oral test once a month. My schedule is 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM on Mondays and Wednesdays. I will have a special class for this week on Friday. The instructor told me what I needed to pay but when Eva found out the price she talked to him and he said I get a discount. Hector and Carlos arrived shortly after I got back home. They were here to take down the old signs for the church. I had to stand on the very tip top of the ladder to reach them.  The internet truck drove by as we were working asking for someone else’s house. Thankfully, when they finished, they came back to our house to install ours! So we now have DSL!! We get 1 MB down and 0.1 MB up. It is slow but it has worked all day! The guy who installed it was 16 and I showed him all my origami stuff. Rachel dropped their dog off at 5:00. It is a tiny dog. Ours just runs her over when he tries to play with it. Their dog barked the entire time we were in the church building and when we got home it had pooped itself. Hopefully it will be well adjusted when the Cortez family returns.

I was working on this Scorpion with Paolo. We mostly finished yesterday at the party yesterday.
Paolo will come over Sunday and I will have pictures of his to post.
