Caleb & Della: 5/6/14: Day 65: Natural Springs

We were just about to walk out the door for the meeting when Hector called. He said that his family was planning to visit a natural springs after the meeting and would like for us to join. I told him we would love too but we would need an extra few minutes to get ready. Lucky decided to stay home in case the internet people showed up. We have been on the list for almost a week to get a slower but more reliable internet connection. They told us that they would come today but disappointment again… During the meeting we discussed the plans for Signal Mountain. The meeting ended at 9:20 and we left for the pools. They were located between Ataco and Ahuachapán. When we got there we found that they were pretty and cold. Everyone had a great time. The water slide was a bunch of fun. I caught a frog and it scared Linda (Carlos’ wife). Hector lost his glasses. After the pools we went to Ahuachapán to eat pizza and ice cream with everyone. Della and I got back to the house at 1:00. At 1:45 Della and Lucky left for the ladies’ bible study. They got back at 5:00 and brought back Katharine (one of our teens) and her mom. At 6: 15 we took Katharine and her mom back home and then headed to Wendi’s house to celebrate her birthday. We ate till we were about to explode. Paolo and I worked on our origami scorpions after dinner and drew a lot of attention. I now have two more people who want to fold with me. They are going to visit our congregation this Sunday and then come over after to fold paper. We took Fernando and his family home after the party. We had to back up a crazy steep road with the van full of full people. I could smell the transmission most of the way home…
