5/2/14: Day 61: Dream Mate

Lucky, Della, and I left the house at 8:00 to go to Ahuachapán. I dropped the girls off at the grocery store. Then I went wondering around town until I found Carlos’ house. I knew I would recognize it when I saw it. Ahuachapán is not too big, so you can’t really get lost. I just have to be super careful with all the one way streets because there not always clearly marked. Carlos and I then went to the bank for him to show me how to pay my rent. We managed to pick the slowest line and it was crowded due to yesterday being a holiday. When we finished, Carlos went to run some errands and I went back to the grocery store. Carlos rejoined us when we finished all our shopping to ride with us back to Ataco. When we got home I worked on the lesson for the teens. I decided to teach a compare and contrast Ruth vs Samson with a focus on purity. Lucky cooked delicious hamburgers for lunch and Carlos came over and ate with us. Lucky, Della and I left at 5:00 for teen time. We had five kids tonight. Lucky interpreted for me. I started by asking them to write a list of five character traits they wanted in a dream mate. One of the boys said he wanted a tall white girl with black hair that loved soccer and one of the girls said she wanted a soccer player from the top team. I taught the lesson and then asked them to rewrite their lists. We got home at 7:00 and Bryan arrived at 7:05.  We worked on origami for a while. After Lucky ate dinner she interpreted for me to have a 20 minute study with Bryan.
