5/13/14: Day 72: Mother’s Day Party
I
spent the morning working on the Wednesday night lesson. It is on 1st
Kings 8 with Solomon’s dedication prayer for the temple. Lucky spent the
morning cooking for the mother’s day party. Della & I went out to get cakes
for the dessert at the party. We found them but we ended up eating ice cream
for lunch. During the party, a couple of teens came back to the house and
started cutting down the garden to get leaves to wave over the moms. I managed
to stop them before they got too many. After the party was over I took the van
to return all the rented tables. Then I went back to the church and took a van
full of people back to Shucutitan. Bryan was waiting when I got home. We worked
on his computer for a bit and he left at 8:30. I was pretty hungry because I hadn’t
eaten anything since the ice cream lunch.
