5/3/14: Day 62: Cleaning House

Della cooked banana pancakes for breakfast! Hector arrived at 8:00 and visited for a bit. We all left at 8:30 to serve café y pan at the market corner. We had a good turn out today. Currently we have two 45 cup coffee makers so 90 cups went quickly. Hector had his van out front playing the book of Genesis from a loud speaker. When we finished we went to Hector’s house for the team meeting. We arrived at 9:30 but the meeting didn’t start until 10:00. So Hector called a bunch of people from the states making plans for the mission groups that will be here soon. The meeting ended at 11:05. Della cooked burgers while Lucky and I went to the market to get a few odds and inns. I got a chain for the dog and a part to repair our noisy toilet. After lunch, I worked on calendars for the next few months. See the new Calendar page! You can get to it from the top. Then Della and I cleaned the house until Lucky came back from teaching the teacher’s seminar. Lucky felt like eating out for dinner so we went with her.  Bryan was waiting at the house when we got back but he got a call from his dad and left after just 5 minutes. While we were at dinner the dog managed to break the key ring holding his collar to the chain. The dog had a heyday with the trash when he got loose.
