9/5/14: Day 187: Parábola

I am hung up on the words palabra (word) and parábola (parable). I spent the day looking over the different Spanish tenses and trying to pronounce those two words. At 4:00 Carlos knocked on the door with Ernesto. He said that Ernesto had decided to get baptized today! So we went to the church building to witness and celebrate. Then Ernesto and Carlos came over to the house and we all ate dinner together. Then Lucky and I went to get some photos made of recent baptisms to hand out. It took a bit longer than expected so we ended up running a little late to the bible study. Della worked on sewing projects all day. I can’t believe that we are going to have a baby in only one week from today!!
