9/4/14: Day 186: In God's Hands

I studied Spanish from 7:30 until 10:00. I am working through reading the book of Mark in Spanish to Lucky with her correcting my pronunciation every other word. It is rather painful and it brings back memories of mom patiently lovingly teaching me to read English. At 10:00 Lucky and I went to Ahuachapán for her to go to the bank. Then we paid the internet bill and as we were walking to Ban Ban to get Della some strawberry cheesecake we saw Fernando. We talked to him a bit; he said he had just come back from Santa Ana getting his license for his motorcycle. Then we grabbed some random groceries and went back home. I studied some Spanish then I read Colossians, Ephesians, and Galatians to refresh my memory for the study. At 4:30 Lucky and I went to Shucutitan and studied with Milton’s sister. Milton is one of our recent brothers; he was added to our number during the camp that Gainesville hosted. We studied until 6:00 and she said she was not ready but wanted us to come back again soon. When we came back home Juana and her son George came over to give us some food. They were of those that were baptized last week. Lucky visited with them for a while and they left at 8:00. As they were leaving Bryan arrived and we worked on origami until 9:30. For dinner Lucky fed Della and I beets; it was my first time to have them and they were awful. Della even tried to feed hers to the rabbit. Lucky said we will be having them again tomorrow!
