We enjoyed a relaxing morning and I caught up on most of my TO DO list. At
11:15 I went to Apaneca to get Samuel. We met Della at a nearby restaurant and
placed our orders. We are out of food at the house and tomorrow we are leaving
for our team building vacation that will last till Wednesday. Then Samuel and I
went on to the church building to turn ESL students away; explaining that the
classes are postponed. Della brought the lunch and we all ate together at the
church building. We sat there for two hours and had 11 people come by to sign
up. I don’t know if an announcement was made at the schools or not; we told the
teachers last Thursday. At 2:00 we
decided to leave a sign on the door in case anyone else came and then I took
Samuel to a sister’s house that Osvaldo’s family was visiting. I got home at 2:30
and Della took the car to go to the ladies bible study. She came back 10
minutes later saying that she had looked at the clock wrong because it started
at 4:00 not 3:00. At 3:45 she left again and she said Linda (Carlos’ wife) led
the study and Della was signed up to teach next week.
